Spring ’22 Non-Credit Tutorials in Armenian

Jan. 28, 2022

Jimmy Wolfe, a postdoc supported by the Committee for the Study of Late Antiquity, is leading an informal course on Classical Armenian. No prior experience with Armenian is necessary, as it is for beginners.  The course will begin by learning the alphabet and continue through Robert Thomson’s grammar, An Introduction to Classical Armenian.

Those who complete this course will reach the requisite level to apply for (and hopefully attend) the DO/HMML Armenian Summer School in Intermediate Armenian, led by Abraham Terian and Jesse Siragan Arlen, with whom Jimmy has been in contact in planning this course.

If interested, contact Jimmy directly ASAP.  The course will be informal and attendance, participation, etc. will be entirely optional. All are welcome to attend as few or as many meetings as possible.
